Description

Clough Lodge is an 18th or early 19th century house constructed of hammer-dressed stone. It has a pitched stone slate roof. The main front has two storeys with modillions supporting the gutter line. It features two ranges of paired sash windows. To the rear is a continuous staircase window. A rear wing, likely dating from the early 19th century, is also built of hammer-dressed stone and has a pitched stone slate roof with stone brackets supporting the gutter line. This wing has two storeys and three sash windows with glazing bars, along with one paired sash window on the first floor. The rear elevation is red brick and includes one range of paired sashes and one tripartite sash window with glazing bars on the first floor.
