Description
Gardener's Cottage, Hillside Cottage, and White Rose Cottage is a stable block that has been converted into three houses. It dates from the 19th century and is constructed of coursed squared stone with pantiled roofs, although some roofs have been replaced with concrete tiles. The building has an E-shaped layout with wings that project to the rear. The roof is concealed behind a battlemented gable parapet that rises to a central peak and slopes down at the sides in long, sweeping curves. The structure is two storeys high and features three bays, with one-storey side bays beneath the ramps. The windows are 20th-century sash windows, with the upper ones having glazing bars, and there are two lower canted bays with tiled roofs. To the left, there is a set-back one-bay barn.
