Description

Morris House and Warner's House are a pair of semi-detached houses located on Beaulieu High Street, likely built in the 17th century and encased in the early 19th century, with alterations made in the early 20th century. The houses are constructed of brick and tile-hanging that encase a rubble stone and timber frame, topped with an old plain tile roof and featuring a brick chimney.

The buildings are two stories tall, with Morris House (No. 44) having two wide bays and Warner's House (No. 45) having three bays, with a central passage between them. The front of the houses features a pointed arch passage with a vault and stone walls located centrally under the chimney.

On the left side, No. 44 has an early 20th-century rectangular hip-roofed bay window combined with a porch. It includes five-light cast-iron intersecting diamond pattern casements on one side, with a corner post and balustrade on the other side, and a door underneath. In the other bay, there is a 16-pane segmental head sash window. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows.

On the right side, No. 45 features an early 20th-century rectangular hip-roofed bay-porch at the end, which has a narrow paned glazed door and a 9-pane window. To the left, there are two segmental head 16-pane sash windows. The first floor has a blocked central opening and 16-pane sash windows. There is also a fire insurance plaque and a blocked opening above the passage. A large central panelled stack with a stepped head is prominent on the roof.
