BEAULIEU HIGH STREET SU 3802/3902 (east side) 17/36 Nos. 44 and 45 (Morris House and 1.12.75 Warner's House).(Formerly listed as Nos 44 and 45) GV II Pair of semi-detached houses. Probably C17, encased early C19, altered early C20. Brick and tilehanging encasing rubble stone and timber-frame, old plain tile roof, brick stack. 2 storey, 44 of 2 wide bays, 45 of 3 bays, central passage. Front has in centre, under chimney, pointed arch passage with vault and walls of stone. To LH 44 has to LH early C20 rectangular hip-roofed bay window and porch combined. 5-light cast-iron intersecting diamond pattern casements to one side, corner post and balustrade to other, door under. In other bay 16-pane segmental head sash. On 1st floor 12-pane sashes. To RH 45 has at end, early C20 rectangular hip-roofed bay-porch, with narrow paned glazed door, and 9-pane window. To LH 2 segmental head 16-pane sashes. On 1st floor blocked central opening and 16-pane sashes. Fire insurance plaque. Blocked opening over passage. Large central panelled stack with stepped head.
