Description

Norris's is a shop with accommodation located on Beaulieu High Street. It dates from the late 18th century, although it likely has an earlier core, and was altered in the 19th century. The building features chequer brickwork and an old plain tile roof. It is two stories high and has three bays. The ground floor has a pent-roofed hood across the front, with a central half-glazed door flanked by canted bays made of brick, each containing 12-pane windows. At either end, there are two-light casements. On the first floor, there are two recessed sashes with 12 panes each. The building has end stacks and at the rear, there is an earlier half-hipped wing. Inside the shop, there are 17th-century chamfered beams.
