Description

Keepers Cottage is a late 18th and early 19th century cottage located in Hyde Frogham Hill. It is constructed of cob with a hipped thatched roof, and features a brick end stack. The cottage has a two-unit plan, incorporating a central staircase. It is a single storey with an attic, originally displaying a two-window front. A mid-20th century gabled brick porch was added in front of the central plank door, flanked by two two-light casement windows. A later 19th century brick addition extends from the original structure, covered by a catslide roof. The interior retains original joists and an inglenook fireplace.
