Description

This is a late 18th- to early 19th-century cottage, originally two cottages, and modernised in the mid-20th century. It is constructed with plastered cob on rubble footings, has cob stacks topped with brick, and a thatched roof, which is hipped to the north-east. The cottage is two storeys high and has a two-room plan separated by a cob wall. A projecting gable stack is located far to the left of the building, and a projecting rear stack is situated far to the right. The front facade has four windows with thatched eyebrows over the first-floor windows. All the windows are 20th-century casements. A 20th-century door is located to the left of the centre, and it has a 20th-century porch. A rear extension, not included in the listing, has been added. The interior has been significantly modernised.
