Description

Elm Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 18th century or early 19th century and was enlarged in the 20th century. It is constructed of plastered cob on rubble footings, with a brick-topped chimney stack. The roof is thatched and hipped at both ends. The building has two storeys and a two-room plan, with a 20th-century addition on the left side. At the rear, there is a large stack, likely made of cob. The front features three windows and a door located to the right of centre, which is behind a large 20th-century closed porch that has a hipped thatch roof. The cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
