Description

Coburg is a cottage dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, with modernisations around 1970 and an enlargement in approximately 1977. The structure is built of cob on rubble footings, with cob and brick stacks, and has a thatched roof. The main block, situated to the left of the front facade, features a symmetrical appearance with a four-window arrangement and a central door. The roof is gabled at each end. Windows are 20th-century casements. The interior has been significantly modernised. A hipped-roofed wing was added to the right around 1977. Originally, the cottage comprised a two-room plan with a single-story kitchen block located behind. The building is included on the list for its group value.
