Description

Rose Cottage is likely an 18th-century cottage located in Castlands, Newton St Cyres. It is built of plastered cob with a thatched roof, which is hipped at each end. A cob stack projects from the right-hand (south-east) end. The cottage has a symmetrical facade with two windows on each floor and a central door. A 20th-century weatherboarded porch, covered by a thatched gable roof, sits in front of the door. The ground floor internal layout has been altered.
