Description

Burnside Farm Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located in Stocks Cross Green, Bramshaw. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has a depth of two bay rooms, with a small link to a barn at one end. The front of the cottage includes a central six-flush panel door that is top-lit and sheltered by a flat hood. On either side of the door, there are 16-pane sash windows set under segmental arches, with additional 16-pane sashes above. The roof is half-hipped, and there are slate-clad ridge stacks above each bay. At the right-hand end, there is a small weatherboard and slate link to a three-bay cob and thatch barn, which is in a dilapidated state.
