Description
Lark Hill Yard is a mid-19th century cottage located on Cottage Lane in Macclesfield. The building is constructed of brick and features a heavy slate roof. It is two stories tall and has a three-window range, with a two-unit plan that has been extended. The doorway is positioned to the left of the original building and is framed by a rough moulded architrave. There are two 2-pane sash windows next to the doorway, while the frames of the other windows have been removed. The lower windows have flat-arched heads, and the first-floor windows are topped with segmental arches. The eaves cornice is plain and boarded. There is an axial stack situated between the two right-hand rooms, as well as an additional stack on the right-hand gable.
