Description

Bridge Number 35, located over the Macclesfield Canal, was built in 1831 and designed by engineer William Crosley. It is constructed from roughly coursed and squared Kerridge stone, with smaller blocks laid above the string course. The bridge features a skew design, an elliptical arch supported by voussoirs and keystones, along with a shallow string course and parapet above. It also includes terminal piers.
