Description
Ivy House Hotel is an 18th-century hotel located on Main Street in Hawkshead. The building is constructed of roughcast stone and features a hipped slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and has three bays. The windows are sashed and include glazing bars. The entrance is round-headed and set within a round-headed recess, which has an impost band and panelled pilasters. The entrance door is a six-panel design and is topped with a fanlight that also has glazing bars.
