Description

Jessamine Cottage and Rose Cottage are two houses dating from the 18th or early 19th century. They are roughcast, with a slate roof. The houses are two storeys high and have four bays. Slate dripcourses are present above the second, third, and fourth bays. Most windows are sash windows with glazing bars, but a casement window is located in the fourth bay of the first floor. Jessamine Cottage has a trellis porch with a hipped lead roof and a six-panel door with overlight, situated in the second bay. Rose Cottage has a gabled trellis porch and a four-panel door located between the third and fourth bays, accessed via a wood gate. Two chimney stacks run perpendicular to the main facade.
