Description
Old Mill Studios is a building probably dating from the 18th century, situated on the rock of the river bed. It is constructed of slate rubble with slate quoins and features a slate roof with deeply overhanging eaves. The building has two and five storeys, set into the steep river bank, and has a long irregular plan. It includes six-paned sash windows and long twelve-paned sash windows. The house at the upper street level is two storeys high, with a central boarded door, two windows on the lower floor, and two additional windows above in gabled dormers. Old Mill Studios, along with Nos 2 to 6 (consecutive) and Ghyll side, forms a group with Stock Cottage on North Road.
