Description
No. 4 Bridge Street is a building set on the river bank opposite the Old Mill Studios and was likely once a mill building. It is a roughcast slate structure, mainly three storeys high. The lower level features a door and a modern window. The middle level has two boarded doors and two 8-paned sash windows. The top floor also has two 8-paned sash windows. The roof is concealed by a level parapet with a central lozenge and three round chimneys on each side, creating a battlement-like appearance. The facade facing the river has four storeys and includes a new gable. No. 4 Bridge Street is part of a group with Old Mill Studios, Nos. 2 to 6 (consecutive), and Ghyll Side, along with Stock Cottage on North Road.
