Description

Ghyll Side is a building likely dating from the 18th century, constructed from white-washed stone rubble and featuring an irregular plan. It has a boarded door accessed by steps, with two windows on the same level and two half-dormers above. To the left, there is a square archway that leads to a pedestrian way for access to other properties. The rear of the building mirrors the front, with two 12-paned sash windows on the first floor and two additional sash windows in gabled dormers. A wing above the archway includes a small casement window, and there is a small shop window located beneath the arch. Ghyll Side, along with Old Mill Studios and Nos 2 to 6 (consecutive), forms a group with Stock Cottage on North Road.
