Description

Stock Cottage is a building that likely dates from the 18th century. It features colour-washed stone rubble walls and a slate roof, and it stands two storeys tall. The central door is the deepest, with panelled reveals and a timber porch. On the ground floor, there are two 12-paned sash windows, and three similar windows above, each topped with half-lunettes. The facade facing Bridge Street has a boarded door and one window on each floor. Stock Cottage is part of a group that includes Old Mill Studios, Nos 2 to 6 (consecutive), and Ghyll Side on Bridge Street.
