Description
The cottage adjoining Kirkstone Foot Cottage is a 19th-century building located at Kirkstone Foot. It is constructed of dry stone rubble and features a slate roof, standing two storeys tall. Kirkstone Foot Cottage has one sash window on each floor, along with an additional dormer. The adjoining cottage and Springwell Cottage each have two windows on each floor, all of which are 19th-century sashes. There are small modern porches added to the cottages. This group of cottages, which includes Nos 1 to 4 in sequence, Kirkstone Foot Cottage, the adjoining cottage, and Springwell Cottage, is part of a larger group that also includes North Syke, North Road, The Golden Rule Hotel, The Old House, North View, and Nos 1 to 3 in sequence on Smithy Brow and The Haven on The Green.
