Description

North View is a 19th-century building located in Ambleside, positioned in front of The Old House and at right angles to it. The front facade features lime-washed roughcast over stone rubble, with a gable end facing the road. It has a modern door in the center, flanked by two 16-paned sash windows on each floor, and a 12-paned sash window above the door. The left side wall is constructed of plain stone rubble, and there is a rear garage that adjoins The Old House. North View is part of a group that includes The Golden Rule Hotel, The Old House, and Nos 1 to 3 (consecutive) along with several other nearby properties.
