Description

No. 22 Lake Road is a two-storey building located in Ambleside. It features roughcast stone rubble and a slate roof. The front gable has a small round-arched window at the top. On the first floor, there are three 16-paned sash windows, while the ground floor has two sash windows, a panelled door, a 19th-century door, and a shop window that resembles that of the Old Stamp House, complete with pilasters and small lights divided by slender colonnets. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 2 to 11 (consecutive), the Royal Oak, the premises occupied by T and J Glen, and the Old Stamp House on Church Street.
