Description

No. 1 Cheapside is an 18th-century building located in Ambleside. It features roughcast stone walls and a slate roof, standing four storeys tall. The canted corner of the building has a modern glazed door at the first floor level, accessed by steps with wrought iron rails. The gable end to the left has a sash window on each of its three floors, giving the building a tall and narrow appearance. Nos 1 to 4 Cheapside form a group.
