2 houses. C18 or early C19. Stone rubble, the left hand house roughcast, slate roof. 2 storeys with basement, 4 bays, 1st bay has lean-to projection to basement and ground floor. 1st 2 bays have casement windows, those to 2nd 2 bays have small-paned fixed glazing with opening upper lights, those to ground floor with stone lintels. Left hand house has entrance in return of projection; right hand house has central entrance with lean-to canopy supported by breeze blocks, both with 4-panel doors with top lights and original brass lockplates. Basement entrances to end bays. Cross-axial stack and gable-end stacks. Rear has gabled wing to left, some small-paned fixed glazing to windows, and one horizontally sliding sash. Gable-end stack.
