Description

Wee Cottage is a house that likely dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone with slate hanging and has a slate roof. The building has three storeys and one bay. On the ground floor, there is a through passage and a recess with stone steps leading to the entrance, which features a six-panel door. The first floor includes a small-paned 20th-century top-hung casement window, while the second floor has small-paned fixed glazing with an opening casement. There is a gable-end stack, and at the rear, there is a two-storey lean-to outshut with small-paned casements. Wee Cottage is owned by the National Trust.
