Guidestone, probably early/mid C19; possibly re-used quoin stone. Sandstone block with chamfered edges on top of boulder wall; c3 ft long on each face and cl ft high. Inscription in Roman lettering on 2 faces: South face, TO BROUGHTON/ TO WHITEHAVEN/ BY RAVENGLASS; east face, TO BROUGHTON/ TO WHITEHAVEN/ BY MUNCASTER.
