Description
The stone wall on the north side of Priory Green, which includes a section running north adjacent to No 12 Priory Green, likely dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red sandstone rubble and stands approximately 10 feet high. The wall steps down from a stone archway to the left and continues to return to the Dovecote. A kitchen garden wall extends north from the archway, rising to about 13 feet high. There is a doorway leading to Priory Green, featuring an 18th century moulded frame and a ribbed door. There is also a blocked door opening next to the Dovecote. This wall is included for its group value.
