Description
The New House is a mid-19th century house located in Luxborough Village. It features a facade of random rubble with slate hanging and a shallow pitch slate roof, along with rendered stacks at the gable ends. The building is double-pile and has two storeys with two bays. It includes two-light wooden casements with many panes, a central door with inset lights, and a porch with a slate roof supported by a pentice hood.
In front of the house, there is a random rubble dwarf wall topped with wrought iron railings in a fleur-de-lys design. The entrance features a similar style gate and simple wooden gatepiers. The house was constructed between 1841 and 1888.
