Description

The conduit, located at NGR SS 9851 3737, dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red sandstone random rubble with quoins and hit and miss coping. The structure features a rectangular recess approximately 1.25 meters high, with a semicircular headed niche about 200 millimeters deep, measuring around one meter across, set into a bank. The recess is adorned with rusticated voussoirs, and there is a central pipe with a slate slab fronting the drain.
