Description
Nos 20 and 21 are semi-detached cottages built in the early 19th century, with alterations made in the late 19th and mid-20th centuries. They are constructed of roughcast over rubble and feature a hipped thatched roof with a roughcast octagonal stack. The cottages have a central full-height curved bay and a single-storey addition on the left. The building is two storeys high with three bays, which include two-light leaded casements. The first floor has arrowslit windows flanking inserted two-light many-paned casements, while the ground floor features a tripartite 12-pane sash window. The entrances are located in the outer bays, with plank doors and a slate-roofed pentice porch. The left side has a lean-to roofed single-storey, two-bay addition. This pair of cottages is part of a group of Chargot estate cottages.
