Description

This building is a former farmhouse, likely part of the home farm for Welstor House, and is now a private residence. It dates from the early to mid 19th century. The structure features solid rendered walls, with slate hanging on the front, and a slated roof. There are two rendered chimneys on the left gable wall and one on the right gable wall. The house is double-fronted and double-depth, standing two storeys tall and three windows wide.

The entrance consists of a half-glazed centre door with a moulded lower panel and a three-paned fanlight above. There is a lean-to porch, which is probably a later addition, accessed by a flight of old stone steps. The windows are six-paned sash windows, and there is a boxed eaves-cornice. On the left gable wall, there is a doorway with a corrugated iron porch. Each upper storey features a pointed-arched window, with a pair of six-paned wood casements that have Gothic glazing bars in the window head.
