Description

Pennsland Bridge, located across the River Ashburn, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a single segmental arch made of roughly-squared voussoirs. The bridge has parapets with copings made of large squared stones, and the downstream parapet curves outward at each end. It is set in a woodland area known for its scenic beauty.
