Description

Higher Headborough Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the early 16th century or earlier, with a later addition. It is constructed of stone rubble, some of which is painted, and features a half-hipped slated roof. A large rendered chimney is located on the front wall. The building has two storeys and is four windows wide, with an additional window in a wing that projects to the left. There is a two-storeyed porch that is off-centre to the right, which contains an inner plank door set in an early 16th-century chamfered round-headed door frame. To the right of the porch are two-paned sash windows, while to the left are wood casements with two panes per light.
