Description

This barn, located immediately east of Higher Headborough Farmhouse along the road front, is likely a former threshing barn. It dates from the late medieval period and has been altered in the 18th and 19th centuries. The structure is built of stone rubble and cob, topped with a corrugated-iron roof. Notable features include a late medieval doorway with a shouldered head in the north wall, and two wider openings in the south wall that are probably from a later date.
