Description

This is a headstone dated 1791, located approximately 1.5 metres north-east of the aisle of the Church of St. Mary in Throwleigh. It commemorates Anne Stennway. The headstone is made of granite and features an upright slab that is flat-topped with rounded corners, standing about 1 metre high. The front of the headstone is inscribed with Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, which notes the burial of Anne Stennway in 1791.
