Description

This headstone, dated 1790, is located approximately 9 metres south of the tower of the Church of St. Mary in Throwleigh. It commemorates John and Anne James. Made of granite, the upright slab features a low segmental head and stands about 900mm high. The front has a simple incised frame and is inscribed with Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, detailing the deaths of John James in 1788 and Anne James in 1790.
