Description

Forder Bridge is a 19th-century road bridge that spans Forder Brook. It is constructed from slabs of granite and features a small two-span design. The abutments and central pier are made of roughly-shaped blocks of granite, with the pier having square corners. The spans are covered by long rectangular slabs of granite laid side by side. Each side of the bridge has a low parapet built from large, roughly-dressed blocks, with 20th-century iron railings set into the top of these parapets.
