Description

The Knapman headstone, dated 1718, is located approximately 5 metres south-south-east of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary in Throwleigh. This headstone is made of granite and features an upright slab with a shaped head, standing about 600mm high. It is inscribed in large coarse capital letters, commemorating the burial of Agnesse Knapman in 1718.
