Description
Bow Bridge Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 17th century. It features square-panelled timber framing with passing braces and brick infill, topped with a concrete tile roof. The cottage has 20th-century brick stacks, and the gable end facing the road is painted brick. The main body has a rectangular plan with a single-storey lean-to at the left gable end and an extension at right angles at the rear, which is not of special interest. The garden front is two storeys high and has two windows, all fitted with 20th-century three-light wood casements. There are single-light and two-light casements in the gable end. Access to the cottage is via the 20th-century extension at the rear. A projecting stack at the left gable end has been incorporated into the lean-to, and there is an off-the-ridge stack.
