Description
Zoons Court is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century and mid to late 20th century. The building features brick walls that are rendered at the front and has a double-Roman concrete tile roof. The front has three windows and is two rooms deep, standing two storeys tall.
The front entrance includes a half-glazed door from the mid-20th century with a cambered head, flanked by boarded-up windows, also with cambered heads. There is a cambered-headed cellar window on the right side. Above, on the left, is a three-light casement window that is boarded up inside, with a similarly sized opening on the right that is narrower and boarded up outside. The eaves are adorned with dentil brickwork, and the hipped roof features a central well or valley that opens to the rear. There are two hipped dormers with two-light casements. The building has external chimneys on the returns, with two on the right side that have tiled offsets, and a larger chimney at the front. The interior has not been inspected but may hold some interest.
