Description

This milestone, located about 110 meters east of Oakle Street, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of stone and features a thick, single stone with a cambered top. The face has sans serif lettering that is painted, and there is a benchmark on top. The inscriptions read '5 / TO / GLO'STER / 6 / TO / NEWNHAM'.
