Description

MINSTERWORTH CHURCH LANE SO 71 NE (south side) 5/95 Unidentified monument in churchyard, about lm south-east of south-east corner of chancel, Church of St. Peter GV II

Chest tomb. Probably second quarter C18. Stone. Flat lid, moulded edge; bolection moulding to rectangular panel on south, framed each side by hanging fruits and flowers. North side rococo frame to rectangular panel, with swelling centre, framed ends as south. Quarter-square gadrooned corner balusters, carving on stem. West end cherubs' heads, east flaming urn.
