Description

No. 55 North Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and features a stone slate roof with stone gable stacks that are raised in brick. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three gabled dormers above two wide-spaced sash windows that have glazing bars. There is a late 20th-century central door. On the return gable facing Chandos Street, there is a 2-light casement window, and at the back, there is one 2-light chamfered mullion stone casement window.
