Description
The Workshop at Pardon Hill Farm is a building from the 18th century, which may have originally served as dormitory accommodation above a cheese room. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone with a stone slate roof, featuring dressed stone quoins and ashlar stacks. The building has a rectangular plan and is connected to Pardon Hill Farmhouse by an open-sided lean-to.
On the north front, there are two 20th-century steel casement windows on the ground floor, while the first floor has two 18th-century wood mullioned cross windows with leaded panes and timber lintels. Similar windows are found at first floor level on the opposite side. The gable ends have stacks with moulded cappings and flat coping. Inside, there are no sub-divisions, and the beams feature run-out stops.
