Description
North Street Workshops are converted workshops that originated from a barn associated with North Street Farmhouse, possibly a former house, dating back to the 18th century. The building features a facade made of cut and squared Ham stone with ashlar dressings, while the sides and rear are constructed from coursed rubble. It has a hipped Welsh slate roof with a shallow pitch. The structure is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The outer bays contain three-light hollow-chamfered mullioned windows set in wave-mould recesses, with the lower bay of the third bay being blocked. The centre bay projects slightly and has a wide opening that once served as barn doors, though currently only the lower halves are in use. There are rooflights on the east side, and a first-floor doorway on the north side accessed by an iron staircase, along with a blocked doorway on the south wall. The rear features similar large doors and one mullioned window. The interior has not been seen.
