Description
The Guelders is a house located in a short row on Gloucester Street in Winchcombe. It features an early 19th-century exterior made of squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof that has a coped gable on the right side and a stone base for a brick stack at the party wall on the left. The roof continues with a long cat-slide at the outer gable. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a single window on each floor. The first floor has a three-light window under a segmental head, while the ground floor features a three-light bowed oriel window with leaded glass. The right gable includes a sash window in the attic, a three-light segmental headed casement window on the first floor, and a 19th-century plank door below. The house may be older than its exterior suggests, and its roof is continuous with the adjoining properties at Nos 87 and 89.
