Description
The gate piers and boundary walls to number 100 are from the early 19th century. They feature a pair of square piers made from limestone ashlar, standing on simple plinths and topped with moulded capitals over a frieze, reaching about 3 meters in height. The left wall is constructed from squared and coursed limestone with plain weathered coping, connecting to the gable wall of number 100. The right wall is similar but is taller than the pier and returns to the front wall of the adjacent property, with a depth of about 1.7 meters. The piers still have stone responds for the original gates, although they now hold a pair of 20th-century wooden gates that are not listed.
