Description

23 Station Road is a semi-detached house located next to number 25. The house was likely originally timber-framed and later encased or rebuilt in brick, with a limestone plinth suggesting its earlier construction. The left gable end is built of coursed squared and dressed limestone, and the roof is covered with concrete tiles. A stump of an ashlar stack has been rebuilt in brick. The main body of the house is rectangular, with a later extension projecting at right angles to the rear. The front, facing the road, features a segmental-headed three-light casement window on the left, a plank door towards the left gable end, and a blocked door to the left. Two twentieth-century gabled eaves dormers are present, featuring plastic frames and no glazing bars. An axial stack is also visible. The interior of the house was not inspected during the listing assessment.
