Description

39 Barton Street is a house in a row, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork and a tiled roof. The building has three storeys and a basement, with two windows on the front. All the windows are late 20th century replacements in the original openings, which are topped with brick voussoirs. There is a basement grille and to the left, an arched opening leads to a 20th century door. The house has a coped parapet and a tall brick chimney stack on the right. The previous listing noted that the property originally had sash windows with glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
