Description

The Cider House, located approximately 10 meters south of Tredington House, dates back to the 17th century. It features square-panelled timber framing with bracing, incorporating some wattle and daub infill as well as red brick infill. The building stands on a limestone plinth and has a felt-tile roof, which was formerly thatched.

On the side facing the farmhouse, there are four plank doors, while a single plank door is located on the opposite wall. The south gable end has double doors with a pitching window above, and the gable end is hipped, while the north gable end is half-hipped. Inside, the structure consists of four bays with original roof trusses that include a collar beam and curving struts, along with double through purlins and a halved apex.
