Description
Manor Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse featuring square-panelled timber framing with painted brick infill. The roof is covered with red tiles and concrete tiles, and there are brick stacks. The building has an 'H'-shaped plan and stands two storeys high. The roadside front has four bays, with two gables that project forward on the left and right sides. Most windows are three-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars. There is a plank door located on the right-hand return of the left-hand gable, and access is now through a brick lean-to against the left-hand return. The right-hand return has two and three-light 20th-century wooden and steel casements, also with horizontal glazing bars. There is a projecting stack on the right-hand return and twin diagonally set axial stacks. A limited inspection of the interior revealed no features of special interest.
